
Due to the likelihood of inclement winter weather slated to begin later in the day, Newton-Conover City Schools will operate via Remote Learning Day for Students for Friday, January 10, 2025. Kid Connection will operate at North Newton Elementary only from 6:00 am to 1:30 pm.


January 8, 2025: Newton-Conover City Schools is now accepting Red Blazer Nominations for 2025 starting January 8, 2025 until February 7, 2025. Each year, Newton-Conover recognizes individuals who donated their substantial time, effort, finances, and other resources, without expecting anything in return, to the success of the school district.

Newton-Conover City Schools thanks First United Methodist Church providing Angel gifts for 16 Newton-Conover students.This was funded by a food tent fundraiser during Reunion Weekend Crusin in August and church youth Christmas shop for our students. Thank you!

Newton-Conover City Schools thanks its community partners United Way and Salvation Army Christmas Bureau. Because of them, 37 high school students received retail gift cards, 3 teen mothers received infant gift bags, and 2 high school students received bikes with helmets.
