January 8, 2025: Newton-Conover City Schools is now accepting Red Blazer Nominations for 2025 starting January 8, 2025 until February 7, 2025.
Each year, Newton-Conover recognizes individuals who donated their substantial time, effort, finances, and other resources, without expecting anything in return, to the success of the school district.
Past Red Blazer Recipients have included individuals like Adrian L. Shuford; former Superintendents Sherrill Cranford and Everette Simmons; former Teacher, Athletic Director, Coach, Don Patrick, and many others. A full list of Past Red Blazer Award Winners can be found on our website here:

Anyone who desires to nominate someone for the 2025 Red Blazer Award may do so by completing a nomination form available on our website (ABOVE) or can be picked up in person at our central office located on 605 North Ashe Ave. Newton, NC 28658. You may also email John Robinson, Public Information Officer at john.robinson@n-ccs.org and request an electronic copy of the form.
