Good afternoon Red Devil Family! Here are your announcements for the week of February 21-25, 2022. Our spring book fair kicks off this week. Students will have an opportunity to preview the book fair and have additional chances to purchase items from the fair. Happy Twos Day celebration planned for Tuesday, 2/22/22. Show your school spirit by teaming up with a friend and dressing like twins on Tuesday, 2/22/22. NCMS is still offering free tutoring for students that need additional support and help. Please reach out to your child's teachers for more information. We are three weeks away from the end of the third quarter. Please encourage your child to continue getting their assignments completed and turned in. We want our students to get the best grades possible. This is a reminder that school starts at 7:40 am. We have seen an increase in the number of students arriving late. Tardies are documented and become part of your child's records. We encourage you to get your child to school on time. This is all for your weekly announcements. Have a wonderful week.

Students in Mrs. Washington's class have been discussing dental health awareness week. Today we specifically looked at different liquids and how they affect our teeth, after 24 hours without brushing. We used 6 boiled eggs and soaked them overnight in 6 different liquids. We then used a toothbrush and toothpaste to see which liquids removed stains. We also observed which liquids appeared to wear away the shell of the egg. We then ranked the liquids and determined which were the healthiest and least healthiest.
